Welcome to Mindful Movement Integrations™. By visiting this website, booking a session, participating in an MMI experience, purchasing a service, or submitting information through this website, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.
1. About Mindful Movement Integrations™
Mindful Movement Integrations™ offers curated movement-based wellness experiences designed to support resilience, mobility, confidence, stress reduction, body awareness, and personal reinvention. MMI experiences may include, but are not limited to, Shift and Stretch™, Rhythm Therapy™, Flex & Flow™, workshops, retreats, corporate wellness sessions, private sessions, group sessions, and customized wellness activations.
MMI experiences may combine mindful stretching, gentle movement, dance-inspired movement, flexibility work, low-impact conditioning, rhythm-based movement, guided reflection, music, and resilience-centered messaging.
2. Not Medical, Physical Therapy, or Mental Health Treatment
Mindful Movement Integrations™ services are for wellness, education, personal development, and general movement support. They are not medical care, physical therapy, psychotherapy, clinical dance/movement therapy, rehabilitation, diagnosis, treatment, or a substitute for care from a licensed medical, mental health, physical therapy, or rehabilitation professional.
Although the term Rhythm Therapy™ may be used as part of MMI’s branded experience, it does not refer to licensed clinical therapy, psychotherapy, medical treatment, physical therapy, or formal dance/movement therapy.
You are responsible for consulting your physician or qualified healthcare provider before participating, especially if you have injuries, chronic illness, pregnancy, balance concerns, mobility limitations, cardiovascular issues, joint pain, neurological conditions, recent surgery, or any other health concern.
3. Assumption of Risk
Movement-based activities involve inherent risks. These may include, but are not limited to, muscle soreness, fatigue, dizziness, slips, falls, strains, sprains, joint discomfort, aggravation of prior injuries, or other physical reactions.
By participating in any MMI session or event, you acknowledge that you are voluntarily participating and accept personal responsibility for listening to your body, modifying movements, stopping when needed, and seeking medical guidance when appropriate.
4. Participant Responsibility
You agree to:
-
Participate at your own pace and within your personal limits.
-
Inform the facilitator of any relevant limitations, injuries, or concerns before participating.
-
Stop immediately if you feel pain, dizziness, shortness of breath, chest discomfort, or unusual symptoms.
-
Follow safety instructions provided during the session.
-
Avoid participating under the influence of alcohol, recreational drugs, or any substance that may affect balance, judgment, or coordination.
MMI reserves the right to modify, pause, or discontinue a participant’s involvement if safety concerns arise.
5. Booking, Payment, and Confirmation
Bookings are confirmed once all required information, agreements, deposits, or payments have been received. For corporate events, retreats, private events, workshops, and group activations, specific terms may be outlined in a separate proposal, invoice, contract, or service agreement.
MMI reserves the right to decline or discontinue a booking that is not aligned with the safety, scope, brand standards, or professional boundaries of the service.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling, and Event Changes
Cancellation and rescheduling terms may vary by service type and will be listed in the applicable agreement, invoice, proposal, or Refund Policy.
For private events, retreats, corporate sessions, and workshops, travel, preparation time, planning, materials, and reserved calendar dates may affect cancellation and refund eligibility.
MMI reserves the right to reschedule or cancel a session due to illness, emergencies, unsafe conditions, weather, travel disruptions, venue issues, or circumstances beyond reasonable control. When possible, MMI will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the service.
7. Venue, Equipment, and Safety Conditions
For off-site, corporate, retreat, spa, or private event bookings, the host, venue, or client is responsible for providing a safe and appropriate space unless otherwise agreed in writing. This may include adequate flooring, ventilation, lighting, accessibility, temperature control, privacy, and sufficient space for movement.
MMI may recommend equipment or room setup, but final responsibility for venue safety may remain with the event host or property owner unless otherwise stated in a written agreement.
8. Media, Photos, and Video
MMI may request permission to capture photos or video for promotional, educational, or documentation purposes. No participant’s image, video, testimonial, or identifying information will be intentionally used for marketing without consent.
At public or group events, general event photography may occur. Participants who do not wish to be photographed should notify the facilitator or event host in advance.
9. Intellectual Property
All MMI content, session structures, names, frameworks, written materials, movement sequences, website copy, branding, graphics, and program concepts are the intellectual property of Mindful Movement Integrations™ and/or its parent company unless otherwise stated.
You may not copy, reproduce, teach, sell, distribute, record, or use MMI materials, language, or branded experiences for commercial purposes without written permission.
10. Client Conduct
MMI is committed to providing a respectful, inclusive, and safe environment. Disruptive, abusive, discriminatory, unsafe, harassing, or inappropriate behavior may result in removal from a session or event without refund.
